There have been six accounting months that have passed since I issued the words “I quit” we show a net revenue of sixty-nine thousand dollars which is neither earth shattering nor unimpressive. Gross revenue stands at about one hundred and seventy thousand dollars. Backing out the fifteen to twenty thousand dollars in start up costs. I think it is safe to say that our firm has made it over the hump. In order to survive we will have to take it to the next level, but we are on the right track.
Our next step is to identify control and expenses-the wish list of purchases is never ending-, refocus on client service and let the revenue side take care of itself.
When I think back about all the distractions and administrative items that consumed our first three months of operation, I can only be excited to think what we might achieve with the ability to focus on nothing but the task at hand.
